
Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi conducted a series of diplomatic calls with counterparts from regional and international partners to discuss recent developments and enhance bilateral relations.
The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation and exchanging views on regional and global issues, particularly the implications of ongoing tensions linked to the United States–Iran negotiations.
The ministers reviewed efforts aimed at achieving a breakthrough that could lead to an agreement ending the current state of conflict, restoring regional stability, and ensuring the uninterrupted flow of maritime navigation and global supply chains.
Sayyid Badr held talks with Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani of Qatar, Badr Abdelatty of Egypt, Anita Anand of Canada, Yvette Cooper of the United Kingdom, Tom Berendsen of Netherlands, and Andrii Sybiha of Ukraine.
The calls underscored the importance of continued diplomatic engagement and coordination to ease tensions, advance dialogue, and support efforts to maintain security and stability in the region and beyond.
