Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister and Antonio Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) reviewed, over a telephone call today, the ongoing regional and international developments.
They emphasized the necessity of intensifying collective international efforts to safeguard the security, safety and freedom of maritime navigation, as well as to ensure the uninterrupted flow of global trade, in full conformity with the established rules of international law.
They also stressed the need for all parties to exercise the necessary flexibility in order to reach practical solutions for settling differences and to prioritize the shared interests of all.
