MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Omani Hajj Mission, has been awarded the Silver “Labaytum” Award for Excellence in Services for the Guests of Allah under the regional awards category for Hajj Affairs Offices across the Islamic world.

The award recognises the mission’s outstanding performance in delivering integrated services to Omani pilgrims and its success in enhancing service quality, regulatory compliance, and overall pilgrim satisfaction throughout the Hajj journey.

Organized by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the “Labaytum” Awards aim to promote competitiveness among Hajj affairs offices and improve the quality of services provided to pilgrims. The evaluation criteria include office performance, pilgrim satisfaction levels, compliance with regulations and guidelines, as well as the implementation of awareness programs and innovative initiatives.

The Omani Hajj Mission earned the accolade after achieving advanced results across several key performance indicators, including operational efficiency, quality of field services, guidance and awareness efforts, pilgrim transportation management, and adherence to health and regulatory requirements.

The mission was also recognized for implementing a range of qualitative initiatives that contributed to enhancing the pilgrim experience and enriching their spiritual journey.

The award underscores Oman’s continued commitment to providing high-quality services to its pilgrims and reflects the mission’s efforts to adopt best practices in Hajj management and service delivery.
