Oman Across the Ages Museum Hosts programme to engage visitors of all ages

Manah: Oman Across the Ages Museum organised its annual “Joy of Generations” event during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, offering visitors a vibrant mix of cultural and recreational activities in a festive family-friendly atmosphere.

The event featured a diverse programme designed to engage visitors of all ages. Activities included traditional folk performances presented by the Manah Folk Arts Troupe, face painting, plaster sculpture coloring workshops for children, and an interactive storytelling session that revived the art of storytelling in an entertaining and educational format.

Speaking on the occasion, Al-Yaqdhan bin Abdullah Al-Harthy, Director General of the museum, said that the “Joy of Generations” event is held annually to enhance the festive spirit of Eid and strengthen the connection between generations and Oman’s rich cultural heritage.

He noted that the event reflects the museum’s commitment to promoting Omani social values and traditions while enriching the overall visitor experience and celebrating the special atmosphere of Eid Al-Adha.
