Muscat: The National Bank of Oman (NBO) hosted the second edition of its Digital Partnership Awards at its Head Office in Muscat, bringing together representatives from government entities, private sector organisations, and SMEs to celebrate the strategic partnerships that continue to advance the Bank's digital transformation journey and support Oman’s wider digital ambitions.
The awards recognised partners whose collaboration has played a vital role in enhancing customer experiences, expanding our digital payment capabilities, and advancing digital banking services across the Sultanate. The Best Digital Payment Processor Excellence Award was presented to the Royal Oman Police, the Civil Aviation Authority, and the Public Prosecution, among others, while the Best Digital Payment Acquirer Excellence Award was presented to the Tax Authority, Muscat Municipality, the Ministry of Health, and the Central Bank of Oman, among others. In addition, the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs received Muzn Islamic Banking’s Best Digital Payment Processor and Acquirer Excellence Award.
The event underscored the importance of strategic partnerships in accelerating digital adoption, strengthening collaboration across sectors, and delivering seamless, customer-centric banking experiences that create lasting value for customers, businesses, and the wider economy.
