Arab national arrested in Seeb with large quantity of psychotropic drugs

Muscat: The Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control, under the Muscat Governorate Police Command, has arrested an Arab national in the Wilayat of Seeb for possessing a large quantity of psychotropic substances with the intent to traffic and consume them.

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said the suspect was apprehended during an operation carried out by the anti-narcotics unit in Seeb.

Legal procedures are currently being completed against the accused, the ROP added.

Man arrested for theft from seven commercial shops in Bidiyah

The North Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command has arrested an individual for allegedly stealing cash and various goods from seven commercial shops in the Wilayat of Bidiyah.

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said the suspect is accused of carrying out a series of thefts targeting commercial establishments in the wilayat.

Legal procedures against the accused are being completed, the ROP added.
