RAO football, catering teams honoured

Muscat: Maj. Gen Mattar Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), honored today at Al Murtafa'a Camp the Royal Army of Oman football team, which secured first place in the 26th edition of the Sultan's Armed Forces Football Championship 2026, held from 22 June to 8 July 2026.

The Commander of the Royal Army of Oman, also honoured the catering team of the Royal Army of Oman, which achieved advanced positions in the annual International Catering Exercise 2026 in the United Kingdom. The exercise was held during the period from 15-20 June.

The Commander of the Royal Army of Oman, praised the achievements made by the participating teams, congratulating them on their excellence and securing advanced positions. He also commended the honorable representation of the teams in regional and international forums, urging them to continue their dedication and efforts, and wishing them success in future participations.
