Joint military exercise 'Courageous Coast / 1' begins

Jabal Akhdar: The joint military exercise "Shoja' Al Sahel / 1" (or Courageous Coast / 1) began on Thursday, conducted by the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), represented by the Muscat Battalion, and units from the Land Forces of the Union of the Comoros.

The joint exercise, held in the military training area of the Royal Army of Oman in the Wilayat of Jabal Akhdar, will include a variety of military training drills in accordance with the exercise plan and set training objectives.

The execution of joint military exercises comes within the framework of the annual training plans and programs conducted by the Royal Army of Oman with Arab and other countries to maintain the level of readiness and operational efficiency of its personnel, alongside exchanging military expertise with the participating forces.
