Salalah: The 2nd edition of Oman Football Academies League (OFAL) will kick off in the Governorate of Dhofar on 1 October, 2026.
The 3-day championship will be organised by the Directorate General of Culture, Sports and Youth in the governorate.
The matches will be held at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah.
Through the football league, the Directorate General of Culture, Sports and Youth aims to furnish a sporting environment that helps hone the players' skills, discover promising football talents and groom a new generation of athletes. It also seeks to foster the values of fraternity and cooperation among young people.
As part of the 2nd edition of OFAL, the Directorate will conduct a programme of events that includes a girls' gymnastics championship on 30 September and a “Physical Activity Day” on 26 October.
