Algiers: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, is participating in the 29th edition of the Algiers International Book Fair 2026, held at the Palais des Expositions (Pins Maritimes) in Algiers.
The participation aims at enhancing the Sultanate of Oman’s cultural presence at premier international book fairs.
The Ministry's participation in the fair, which continues until 7 November, brings to the audience a bright cultural image of the Omani cultural and intellectual scene and its rich, renewed cognitive creativity, in an effort to build bridges of cultural and civilizational communication.
This participation aims to highlight the cultural landscape, exchange expertise with international cultural institutions, introduce Omani cultural and intellectual heritage while highlighting its civilizational stature, and promote Omani publications to expand their reach among readers, interested individuals, and researchers.
The Omani pavilion features a diverse collection of publications across various fields including literature, intellect, history, language, and heritage, in addition to a selected number of publications from civil society institutions and Omani publishing houses.
It is worth noting that the Sultanate of Oman's pavilion is experiencing engagement from Algerian visitors and individuals interested in Omani culture who wish to explore and learn about new releases across multiple fields.
