His Majesty the Sultan departs from China for Brunei Darussalam

Beijing: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik departed this evening from the friendly People’s Republic of China, after concluding his visit, heading to the friendly Brunei Darussalam on a three-day “state” visit.

His Majesty was seen off by Zhai Jun, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government for Middle East Affairs, a number of Chinese officials, Ambassador Anwar bin Ahmed Muqabil, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman appointed to the People’s Republic of China, and members of the Omani Embassy in Beijing.

Before departing, His Majesty the Sultan sent a cable of thanks to the Chinese President, in which he expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the warm welcome and generous hospitality, praising the constructive results of the visit, which strengthened the course of bilateral relations and pushed the partnership and cooperation between the two countries.
