Why do you love painting?
Painting brings out a better version of me. It makes me look at the world in a different perspective. The moment I get involved in my work, my thoughts change, my emotions change, and my universe changes too. Art can explain feelings that words may not be able to.

How did you get into it?
Painting was just a hobby that grew and became a part of my life. It brings a feeling similar to what a child feels when he stares at the sky to see the stars. That feeling kept me going. Painting not only brings colours on the canvas but it also brings colours to my life.

How can one get into it?
Painting is a medium by which many people find that their emotions and thoughts shine through. No previous experience is needed. And I personally feel there is a painter deep inside all of us, so we should let them out.

What’s your pro-tip on painting?
Jack London had once said, “You cannot wait for inspiration, you need to go after it with a club.” Similarly every composition is just a perfect positioning of shapes, colours, and tones. So observe the world around you, grab your necessities, and begin.—[email protected]
