Chickzone plans 15 restaurants in Oman

Muscat: Chickzone, a fast food chain that started operation almost six months back in Seeb, plans to open 15 more fried chicken restaurants within one year.
The second outlet will be opened at Al Amerat on March 17, while the remaining restaurants are planned in Muscat and Barka, the promoters told the media.
“The fast food chain has already started work for establishing three to our restaurants in Oman,” said Dilshad Abbas, managing partner of Chickzone.
“We will serve fried chicken, grilled chicken, burgers and sandwiches. A major chunk of our customers are Omanis. We don’t use any chemical in our dish,” he added.
The opening of 15 restaurants will offer employment to 100 people.
Abbas said that the restaurant is promoted in joint venture by a group of investors from India and Oman. Each restaurant will have 1,200-1,500 square feet area and will cost around OMR20,000.
Naushad M, managing director of Chickzone, Ajinas, managing partner, Muscat region, were also present at the press briefing.
