Big Show to open on Monday

Muscat: A major exhibition on construction, building material and interior design—the Big Show—will start on Monday at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre under the patronage of Mohsen bin Mohammed Al Sheikh, chairman of the Muscat Municipality. The four-day show is being organised by Oman Expo.
The Big Show aims to provide a database for both government and private agencies engaged in real-estate projects in tourist and residential areas, infrastructure projects and others in the areas that need a large support for manufacturing and building equipment companies.
More than 375 local and international companies will participate in the exhibition, showcasing several products, such as marble, ceramics, doors, windows, kitchen and bath fittings, interior design and ventilation systems, air conditioning, swimming pools, tools and construction equipment, steel, cement, wood, and wood-cut machines.
The first conference in the field of construction and interior design will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition. Around 25 speakers and 100 participants from the public and private sectors will attend the conference.
The exhibition is aimed at site managers, architects, contractors, consultants, house and villas owners, importers, distributors, interior designers, managers and owners of real estate, purchasing managers, real estate agents, retailers and suppliers.
It is expected that the event will draw a huge turnout of businessmen, better than in the previous events due to a significant change in the current version in terms of increasing the number of exhibitioners, and uniqueness of products that cover all construction requirements, starting from the planning stage and maps to the stages of foundation and construction and all construction and decoration accessories.
