Muscat: If you are looking at becoming a stage artist, or just want to explore the backstage scenes, here is your opportunity as the Royal Opera House Muscat is looking to cast ‘Extras’ for one of its upcoming ballet productions in April.
ROHM requires 17 Men, 9 Women and 4 Boys to take part in American Ballet Theatre’s production of ‘Giselle’.
Those interested are advised to apply only if they can make themselves available for all scheduled costume fittings, rehearsals and performances, without which they will not be considered.
Interested applicants can send ROHM one full length photograph of themselves, one headshot photo and a short cell-phone video introducing themselves (full length shot, not head shot) to [email protected] with a covering e-mail including their name, age, height, clothing size, shoe size and contact telephone number, previous acting / dance experience and why they would like to be involved.
Successful applicants will be informed by e-mail if they have been selected and / or if an audition will be required.
Applicants will need to be based locally and be able to provide a copy of an Omani ID card or Resident Card for non-Omanis and also have an Omani bank account.
