Muscat: Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, celebrated the inauguration of the 32nd football field, which has been developed as part of the Green Sports initiative for the Al Jinz sports team in the Wilayat of Suwaiq in the North Batinah governorate.
The development is also part of the ‘Let’s Do More’ vision and ‘Imprints’ initiative, aimed at supporting youth and promoting Oman as a sporting nation. Sheikh Khalid bin Mustahail Al Mashani, chairman of Bank Muscat, was the guest of honour at the ceremony, which was also attended by dignitaries and senior bank officials.
Al Mashani said: “Bank Muscat is proud to see the remarkable contributions of the Green Sports initiative in support of Oman’s youth, who represent the future of Oman. “True to its commitment to supporting varied sporting activities in the country, Bank Muscat remains at the forefront of offering the required encouragement and support to youth. Committed to its ‘Let’s Do More’ vision for the community and the nation, the bank aims to lead the way in contributing to sustainable development in Oman with various
initiatives.”
Qasim bin Darwish Al Mujaini, deputy president of Al Jinz Sports Team, said: “We are thankful to Bank Muscat for the Green Sports initiative, which has made vital contributions to creating an environment encouraging Omani sports talent.
“The unique initiative is a big support for the country’s youth and we are confident that many youngsters will benefit from this programme and become sporting heroes for the country.”
