No plans to replace Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, says Amit Shah

Chandigarh: Dubbing all questions on ongoing power tussle among Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders in Haryana, party's national chief Amit Shah on Saturday, said that there was no plan to have change of guards in the state and chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar will continue to head the state.
Addressing a press conference in Chandigarh press club here, the BJP national chief said that the reports about infighting among BJP MLAs' are mere media creation and does not mean anything for the party high command. "Khattar would continue as CM and there is no plan to replace him," repeats Shah.
He also said that the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and BJP alliance in Punjab would continue despite a historical poor show in the recently held assembly elections. On questions of poor performance of the BJP in Punjab despite strong Modi wave visible in the country, Shah said his party was a minor alliance in Punjab. "We have contested only few seats in Punjab as a minor coalition partner. Still the party was in the process of making introspection as why we performed poorly," he said.
Amit Shah also denied Punjab BJP leaders' statements that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs are in touch with the BJP. "No MLA from the AAP is in touch with us and all such reports are wrong. I don't know what Punjab BJP leaders are stating on the issue," he said.
