Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer calls out Senate Republicans and President Donald Trump for refusing to work across the aisle on improving the healthcare system.
Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer criticized Republicans and President Donald Trump on Tuesday (July 18) for what he said was their refusal to work across the aisle on improving the healthcare system.
His comments came after the collapse of Republicans' push to repeal and replace Obamacare in the U.S. Senate, which set up a possible repeal-only vote.
After two Republicans said they would not back the latest Obamacare rollback bill, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell threw in the towel and was weighing a vote on simply repealing the 2010 healthcare law with no replacement.
