Muscat: There has been an increase of 66 per cent in the number of roads paved in the Sultanate from 2015 to 2016, according to the latest data released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information.
"2,028 kilometres of roads completed in the Sultanate in 2016, with an increase of 66 per cent compared to the previous year," NCSI.
According to the NCSI statics, 60.2 per cent of the roads completed in the Sultanate in 2016 were single (carriageway), 29.2 per cent paved, and 10.7 per cent dual (carriageway).
