Muscat: As part of its ongoing commitment to support the wider community and the ‘Aster Volunteer’ and “Aster@30” initiatives, commemorating Aster DM Healthcare’s 30th anniversary year, Aster Al Raffah Hospital, Oman organised a free medical checkup for the Al Noor Association for the Blind recently.
A team of specialist doctors and dentists from Aster Al Raffah Hospital conducted the free checkup and consultations for 80 members who attended the health check. The first of associations between, Aster Al Raffah Hospital and Al Noor Association for the Blind, the health camp took place at the latter’s headquarters in Al Khuwair. In addition to this, post the health checkup, the members from Al Noor Association for the Blind were taken to the Civil Aviation Club (CAC) for a fun and enjoyable evening with games and other recreational activities.
Seeniya Biju, chief executive officer for Aster Al Raffah Hospitals & Clinics said, “It gives us immense pleasure in announcing our alliance with Al Noor Association for the Blind, as they have been excelling in improving the quality of life of several visually impaired and blind individuals in Oman, further empowering them to lead fulfilling lives.”

This event also saw the attendance and support of Aster Volunteers, an Aster@30 initiative to bridge the gap between people who would like to help those in need from people who need the help.
