Forest fires rage in northern Italy

Firefighters are busy battling forest fires that have been burning for several days in the north of Italy.
Fire brigade units battled forest fires that have been burning for several days in the north of Italy in the early hours of Monday (October 30).
Hundreds of people have been evacuated from homes around the northwestern Val di Susa area as flames burned in that region with swathes of forest around the Varese area, in the north, also affected.
Two firefighting planes from Croatia have been brought in to help dump water onto the fire.
