Muscat: Oman Avenues Mall is already half-way through its 2018 Season of Fashion, titled ‘Fashion Re-imagined’, which has been received with great excitement.
Last year’s series celebrated a full month of fantastic fashion, style and glamour. Now in 2018, visitors to Oman Avenues Mall can expect a line-up of international fashion, makeup and beauty, and cultural events to take place each weekend in the main atrium of the mall.
The activities kick-started on February 9 and 10 with a 2-day Kid’s Fashion Show, welcoming children of Muscat to audition, dress up and walk the runway whilst presenting some of the world’s leading apparel brands. From H&M Kids to LC Waikiki, the show presented a diverse mix of trends and styles.

Last weekend presented the Makeup & Beauty weekend; a 2-day exploration of all-things-beauty and grooming. Aside from leading tutorials from renowned makeup artists and beauty educators, the audience enjoyed a whimsical Mr & Mrs Challenge and Blindfold Competition in front of an enthusiastic crowd.
The final two weeks of the campaign will welcome a Cultural Edit Fashion Show on February 23, where ethic-inspired brands such as Chalet, Sara Plaza, Kashka and Khazir will present an exotic collection of their finest Abayas, Jalabiyas, Bishts and Pashminas. Followed by rising talents, two Omani fashion designers will present both haute couture and edgy street-style looks from 7-9pm. For the music-aficionados, February 24 will welcome Just Jam Sessions for a chilled, laid back, session of freestyle music and jamming with young musicians and artists at the mall from 6.30pm onwards.
For the ultimate Fashion Season Grand Finale, professional fashion models will present the leading SS2018 looks from all major high-street retailers found at Oman Avenues Mall, showcasing 10 different brands’ collections together with live music, dance, performance and grand giveaways. In the spirit of giving, up until March 10, with every OMR15 spent, shoppers can take part in a scratch-and-win card competition to win instant prizes, and stand the chance to win a grand prize giveaway of a brand new Mercedes Benz CLA 250.
