Muscat Insurance opens 22nd branch in Bahla

Muscat: Muscat Insurance Company, a leading insurance company in the Sultanate of Oman for the past 23 years, has reached another milestone by opening its 22nd branch in Bahla, near the souq, recently.
Sheikh Abdul Aziz Salim Abdul Salam, deputy wali of Bahla in the presence of Philip K Philip and the senior management team of Muscat Insurance Co inaugurated the branch.
Sheikh Aimen bin Ahmed Sultan Al Hosni, chairman of Muscat Insurance Co. Said, “We are proud to open our 22nd branch at Bahla, the Unesco World Heritage town and I congratulate the CEO – Philip K. Philip and his team for successfully opening the new branch in Bahla, thereby reaching out to one more town in the Sultanate of Oman.”
While inaugurating the branch, Philip expressed his happiness on the opening of the 22nd branch in Bahla and stated, “MIC has again demonstrated its commitment to the citizens and residents by offering insurance services at their nearest place and convenience. By opening its 22nd branch, the company continues its growth journey and create more job opportunities for the nationals. I wish to take this opportunity to express my immense appreciation to all our customers for their continuous patronage as this achievement is the direct result of our highest standards of customer service across Sultanate of Oman.”
He added, “We are happy that Bahla is the third branch in Al Dakhiliyah region after Nizwa and Samail and we promise to serve the local needs in all insurance-related matters.”

K .S. Parameswaran, the chief commercial officer said, “We are extremely happy on the opening of our 22nd branch in Bahla. The new branch shall be a full-service branch, offering all products and services of Muscat Insurance Company both general and life products. We have novel products in the life division such as Himayat Al Usra (Family Medical), Hayati (Individual life insurance suitable for both personal protection as well as for availing bank loans).”

Muscat Insurance Co. was founded in 1995 by Dr Omar bin Abdul Muniem Al Zawawi as a public shareholding company. As per regulatory requirements, the company was elevated to status with OMR10 million paid-up share capital, last year. The 23-year-old company has been growing and diversifying its products and unique services to suit to the needs of people of this country. The company is planning for further expansion too.
