Muscat: In seven days more than 24,237 visitors to Salalah for the Khareef season were recorded, Oman's National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) announced on Thursday.
Omanis made up the majority of these tourists, with 15,932 visiting Salalah, followed by 2,858 Asian tourists, 1,456 Saudis, and 1688 Emiratis traveling to the governorate so far.
On June 21, NCSI announced that it had started recording its survey for the visitors for the Khareef season, which will run until September 21.
