Automotive industry in Oman leads consumer money recoveries in 2018

Oman's Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) recovered more than OMR400,000 during the first half of 2018.
According to an official report from the authority, the total amount of funds recovered as a result of consumer complaints exceeded OMR411,000.
PACP's Complaints Department highlighted that the amount recovered from the automotive sector stood at OMR166,585, followed by the electrical appliances sector.
Funds recovered from the construction sector totalled OMR23,413, while OMR15,385 was retrieved from the furniture industry.
