Record number of graduates join PwC Middle East

Muscat: Earlier this week, PwC Middle East, welcomed a record number of new graduates (333) to join its offices across the region, as part of it’s continued confidence to invest in the region.
Hani Ashkar, PwC Middle East Territory Senior Partner, said: “We are delighted to be one of the largest employers of graduates in our region, which is one of the youngest in the world. Our commitment to the top young talent of our region reflects our deep rooted commitment to, and confidence in the Middle East."
"With approximately half women and representing 40 different nationalities, we believe that this group of graduates represents the future of our firm and the diverse workplace we seek to maintain,” he added.
PwC Middle East People Partner, Emma Campbell said: “We’re proud to offer graduates an opportunity to grow as individuals, to build lasting relationships and make an impact in a region where people, quality and value mean everything. Our strategy is centered around attracting, retaining and developing the best talent in the region and each year, our network of skilled professionals grows with possibility and potential.”
The new graduates attended an induction session in Dubai, during which they received an overview of the firm and it’s strategy and interacted closely with the Middle East leadership team.
This year’s induction theme is ‘Building our future - Together’. The theme stems from the strong focus of PwC in confirming its investment in the region, by building its people’s capabilities to ensure they are ‘‘business ready”.
