47 arrested in Oman for 'acts against public morality'

Muscat: Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested 47 people for renting a farm in Seeb and for activities against public morals. According to officials, the suspects were of "different nationalities".
In a statement, ROP said, "Muscat Police Command arrested 47 people of different nationalities at a rented farm in Wilayat Seeb, for conducting activities against public morality."
The police added that they were caught "drinking alcohol, and were referred to the judicial authorities to complete the rest of the legal proceedings."
