Muscat: The Sultanate could witness high winds and dust in the next four days, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has announced.
In its recent weather report, PACA said, “The latest weather analysis of the national Multi-Hazard Early Warning Centre indicates chances of fresh northeasterly wind blowing over the Oman Sea from Thursday, November 1 to Sunday, November 4."
The Authority added that the sea state will be rough during this period with maximum wave height ranging between two to three metres. There could also be a possible reduction in horizontal visibility due to the existence of dust along the coastal areas of the Oman Sea.
PACA has urged people to exercise caution and check the sea state before sailing, apart from monitoring the weather and marine bulletin.
