Majlis Al Shura reviews draft state budget for 2019

Muscat: The Economic and Financial Committee at Majlis Al Shura on Wednesday held its 24th regular meeting under the chair of Dr Saleh bin Said Masan, Head of the Committee.
The Committee completed its study on indicators of the draft state budget for the fiscal year 2019, which was referred by the Government to Majlis Al Shura. The Committee also reviewed several financial and economic aspects, as well as the analysis of some statistics related to the financial status of the Sultanate for 2019.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the members of the Committee approved the action plan for the Committee for the fourth annual sitting, which will start on 12 November 2018. The action plan included studies and topics related to means of developing the Sultanate's economy.
