
Muscat: Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dancila arrived in Muscat on Tuesday for a three-day official visit to the Sultanate.
She was recieved by His Excellency Sayyid Bader bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Other officals from the delegation included the Minister of Education, Her Excellency Madiha Al Shaibani, His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, and His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Baamer, the Minister of Education, and the Sultanate's Ambassador to the Italian Republic and Non-Resident Ambassador to Romania, Ambassador Mihan Koman, Romania's Non-Resident Ambassador to the Sultanate, and a number of members of the Romanian Embassy in the Sultanate.
The Romanian Prime Minister was accompanied by a delegation of Romanian officials.
The visit is aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries and supporting existing bilateral cooperation in various fields to serve the common interests of the Omani and Romanian peoples.
