Over 100 expat workers deported, 196 arrested

The workers were arrested between November 18 and 24, 2018 for violating Labour Laws.
Of the total violators, 63 were freelance workers, 63 had left their jobs, and 22 workers were referred to by other agencies.
Muscat, recorded the highest number of arrests with 96, followed by Northern Al Batinah with 36.
The Ministry of Manpower deported 102 workers as a result of violating the provisions of the Labour Law.
