Omani woman dies in a pond

A woman has been found dead after falling into a pond in Wilayat Sur, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance revealed.

According to authorities, the woman was an Omani national.

"The team from the Department of Civil Defence and Ambulance in Southern Shariqyah responded to a report of a Omani citizen who fell into a water pond in the area of Al Falaij in Wilayat Sur.” - Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance

They added that the woman was deceased when she was extracted from the pond.
