Body of missing Australian found

The body of the Australian national who was reported missing on Monday, April 22, had been found.
The police announced that a joint task force consisting of members from various bodies had been set up to aid in the search for the expat who had been missing for over 5 days.
According to authorities, the individual was last seen hiking on the Jabal Al Akdhar mountain.
"The ROP has found the missing Australian citizen in Al Hajir -Wadi Al Ma’awel and the missing person has sadly passed away. The process of transferring the body is via ROP Air Force, and handing it over is in progress.” – Royal Oman Police
