A large quantity of smuggled tobacco, including 400 bags of chewing tobacco, was seized by the Public Authority for Consumer Protection in Rustaq.
According to officials, the illegal tobacco was seized at a men's tailor shop.
“The details of the incident dated back when the PACP received a report about an expatriate working at a men's tailor shop in Rustaq selling banned tobacco. After checking and proving the evidence, the inspectors visited the shop to inspect it. 400 packets of banned cigarettes were confiscated.” - Public Authority for Consumer Protection
