More lanes for Rusayl-Nizwa road

Motorists who are travelling from Rusayl to Nizwa later this year can expect more lanes to be opened.
According to the officials adding four lanes to the third and fourth lanes to the Rusayl-Nizwa dual carriageway will improve the efficiency of the road.
“The implementation of the third and fourth lanes to the Rusayl-Nizwa dual carriageway has assigned to the contractor. The ministry is currently completing the contract procedures to give a direct order of work. The start of implementation of the project is expected during the last quarter of this year." - Salim bin Mohammed al Nuaimi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Communications
The number of road lanes is four in each direction from Rusayl-Nizwa.
