CCTV cameras to be installed in this famous market in Oman

Muscat: Electronic monitoring systems will be installed at the Nizwa Central Market to help strengthen security in the area, according to the A’Dhakiliyah Municipality.

In a statement, A'Dhakiliyah Municipality said: "In order to strengthen the security within Nizwa Central Market, an electronic monitoring system has been installed in the various corners of the market."

According to the Municipality, this decision comes in an effort to monitor the movement within the market and to make it safer.

"The system is in place in order for supervisors to continuously monitor the market supervisors to preserve its contents and to deal with any actions affecting the commercial and tourism follow, another reason is for the safety of its customers," the Municipality’s statement added.
