No airspace restrictions between Pakistan and India

Muscat: Pakistan announced that its airspace was open to all civil traffic Tuesday morning, with India's Ministry of Civil Aviation later stating that there were no longer airspace restrictions between the two countries.

The news from Pakistan was confirmed by state broadcaster Radio Pakistan, who cited a spokesperson from the Civil Aviation Authority.

In a statement on Twitter, the Indian ministry, citing an Airports Authority of India official said, "After cancellation of NOTAMS by Pakistan and India in the early hours today , there are no restrictions on airspaces of both countries, flights have started using the closed air routes, bringing a significant relief for airlines."

Pakistan had fully closed its airspace on February 27 following rising tensions with India.
