Muscat: A leading real estate company has announced a special offer for Omani women on the occasion of the Omani Women's Day. BBH, a leading real estate company, revealed a booking discount offer for women for shops in an upcoming traditional souq in Seeb. The souq comprises of shops that deal in gold, entrepreneurial shops, and shops of tailors and a cotton market. This announcement was made amidst the celebration of the Omani Women's Day by the Ministry of Housing, which was held under the patronage of Engineer Siham bint Ahmed Al Harthi, director general of the Directorate General of Real Estate Development at the Ministry of Housing, at the Grand Millennium Hotel. Al Harthi unveiled the women's market in a 'traditional market' project, which is being executed by the BBH Group in the Wilayat Seeb. Al Harthi expressed her happiness as the Sultanate celebrates Omani women, which falls on 17 October annually. “We are also pleased to celebrate the launch of a special market for women in the traditional market implemented by the BBH Group,” she said Dr Khalid bin Salim Al Mutani, chairman of the Board of Directors at BBH, said: “Today we share the joy of Omani women with Omani Women's Day which is our pride. This project will open its doors by the end of 2020, and gives special discount for Omani women.” The project will be built on a total area of 54,000 square meters and contains 3 floors, a popular hotel and a theatre on an area of 3,000 square meters, besides a hall for several uses and a cinema plus underground parking for close to 1000 vehicles. With its strategic location in Seeb, the market combines authenticity and modernity. This popular market is touted to be a tourist attraction where one can learn about Omani environment and heritage.
