Rainfall over most parts of Oman forecast

Muscat: The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has forecast chances of thunderstorms over most parts of Oman on Saturday.

A weather alert issued by PACA said, "Chances of thunderstorms over the governorates of Musandam, Al Buraimi, North Al Batinah, Al Dhahirah and South Al Batinah today associated with fresh wind, hail and chances of flash floods in valleys."

Heavy rains are expected over the governorates of Musandam, North Al Batinah and Al Buraimi with the amount of rainfall ranging between 30 mm and 50 mm.

PACA advised all to take precautions during rain and to avoid sailing during the mentioned period.
