Chances of fog patches across parts of Oman

Muscat: Some parts of the Sultanate will see reduced visibility due to fog with temperatures varying between 8 degrees Celsius in Saiq to 29 degrees in Ibri and Haima, the Oman Meteorology department said.

The temperature will be 25 degrees in Suhar, Sur and Masira, 26 degrees in Khasab, Salalah and Muscat and 27 degrees in Buraimi, Nizwa, Ibra and Rustaq.

“Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with advection of medium and high clouds over Musandam governorate. Chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches along parts of Oman Sea coasts and over parts of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates,” the weather forecast statement said.

“Winds will be southeasterly, light to moderate over most of the Sultanate,” they added in a statement.
