Muscat: People in Oman and the GCC who are looking for a home away from the hustle and bustle of the city can now begin booking their next house on Al Ashkhara Beach.
Al Seef Waterfront, being built by Sandan Development at a cost of OMR6 million on an area of 24,000 square metres, the project is placed to be a unique experience for peaceful living away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, on the beach with plenty of greenery and clean fresh air.
It was inaugurated by Siham Al Harthy, Director General of Real Estate Development at the Ministry of Housing. According to officials at Sandan, it would take 36 months to complete the project. They also unveiled the project design, marking the start of reservations and sales for 75 villas of different sizes and integrated services. The units are subject to freehold by Omani and GCC citizens.
In the summer, the temperature in Niyabat Al Ashkhara does not exceed 28 degrees. It also features beaches and fine sand dunes rendering it a destination for tourists from inside and outside the Sultanate. Niyabat Al Ashkhara is an ideal destination for practising many recreational activities, such as surfing, fishing, and beach camping. Visitors can also enjoy lagoons and observe birds and turtles. Al Ashkhara also mediates many other tourist attractions, including Ras Al Jinz Reserve, Masirah Island, and Ras Al Hadd.
Siham Al Harthy expressed her happiness with this prominent project in Niyabat Al Ashkhara and asserted that the area needs such projects to promote tourism and attract those who look for unique climate and location.
“Sandan Development is among the active real estate developers in the Sultanate and a true contributor to the development process due to its quality projects that cater to various sectors,” she said.
“Al-Seef Luxury Waterfront Villas reflect the role played by Sandan Development with an effective public-private partnership in Oman.”
Muhammad bin Sulaiman Al-Kindi, chairperson of Sandan Development, expressed his happiness at launching the new project to be another addition to the quality projects of Sandan Group after Sandan Industrial Park in Halban and the Female Students’ Housing Compound in Al Khoudh. At the inauguration ceremony of Al Seef Luxury Waterfront Villas, Al-Kindi stated that Sandan Development adopted a strategy of building specific projects that provide appropriate solutions in the real estate sector in fulfilment of various social needs.
“We aspire to be real contributors to the development process in the Sultanate through providing solutions that cater for all segments,” he stated. “Al-Seef Luxury Waterfront Villas are significant and a revitaliser for Niyabat Al-Ashkhara in the light of the lack of similar projects. Being the first of its kind there, it will have positive effects in stimulating tourist traffic in Al Ashkhara, one of the tourist attractions thanks to its moderate climate and pristine beaches. The project is the result of in-depth studies.”
Strategic location
Ali Hassan Sulaiman, CEO of Sandan Development, explained that Al-Seef Luxury Waterfront Villas are a prominent project and a landmark in Niyabat Al Ashkhara. “It is the first fully integrated residential project in such a strategic location on the Arabian Sea where residents shall enjoy the clean breeze and embrace quiet life away from the hustle and bustle of cities,” asserted Sulaiman.
“Sandan Development has been keen to establish Al Seef Luxury Waterfront Villas with high-end specifications that cater for the needs of modern life, facilities and services, including children’s playgrounds, greenery, security and guard services, mall, parking lots, and a mosque. Housing units can also have swimming pools as per buyer’s request,” he indicated.
Al Seef Luxury Waterfront Villas include 75 villas of three different sizes. Beachfront Pearl Villas of 380 metres have five bedrooms with annexes. Breeze Villas 242 metres have four bedrooms with their annexes. Seashells, Coral and Garden Villas of 204 metres have three bedrooms and their annexes.
“The units are subject to a freehold system for Omanis and GCC citizens. This project is an appropriate opportunity for investment in light of the scarcity of high-end housing in this unique touristic destination of Niyabat Al Ashkhara,” added the CEO. Also available for buyers are facilities through soft payment schemes and concluded agreements with several banks to facilitate loans for buyers who prefer to borrow from banks.”
