Death toll of Pakistan's train-bus collision rises to 30

Death toll of the collision between a train and a passenger bus in Sukkur in Pakistan has risen to 30, an official said.

Commissioner of Sukkur district told media that the death toll rose after 15 of the injured succumbed to their injuries during the treatment.

Several children and women were among the deceased and the injured, the official added.

According to the commissioner, the passenger train, heading towards the eastern city of Rawalpindi from the southern port city of Karachi, hit the bus at a railway crossing.
