Muscat:On the back of the directive issued by the Ministry of Manpower, Sultanate of Oman, LuLu Exchange has affirmed its earlier commitment to provide in full the salaries of all its employees. The notification by the Ministry had sought to allay uncertainties around employee stability arising from the Covid-19 pandemic, by directing all private sector companies to avoid deduction of salaries on account of the recent disruption to business working hours.
In an official statement released today, Mr. Adeeb Ahamed, MD, LuLu Exchange said, “We respect the decision by the Ministry of Manpower to maintain stability among the workforce in this time of crisis. As a company that is committed to Oman’s future as envisioned under the wise and humanitarian leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, we assure ourcomplete support to our employees to overcome this situation.”
