Muscat: Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, held its Al Mazyona monthly draw for April 2020 recently.
The bank rewarded its customers with over OMR600,000 in prizes across different segments including Asalah Priority Banking, Al Jawhar Privilege Banking, Zeinah, Shababi and Children’s account holders as well as customers in different governorates across Oman.
Notably, Bank Muscat launched the Al Mazyona 2020 savings scheme with financial prizes amounting to over OMR11 million, which is the largest prize money offered by any bank in Oman. The core focus of Al Mazyona is to encourage customers to sustain a strong savings culture and be rewarded in turn with the biggest prizes in Oman. In the monthly draw, 10 Asalah Priority Banking customers were rewarded with OMR25,000 each while 25 Al Jawhar customers walked away with OMR5,000 each. A total of 420 lucky customers from different governorates in Oman won OMR500 each in the monthly draw, while 15 Zeinah customers were rewarded with OMR1,500 each for their savings habit. The bank conducted a raffle to reward 50 Shababi account holders with prizes of OMR100 each. Also, 50 children’s account holders were awarded with OMR100 each during the draws for April. The bank will continue to hold monthly draws till the end of the year, while also conducting special draws for the National Day and other special occasions.
Abdullah Taman al Mashani, DGM - Institutional Sales and Product Development, Bank Muscat, congratulated all the winners of the monthly prize draws and said that the prizes would bring joy and happiness to customers and enable them to realise their dreams. He stressed that all bank customers have the opportunity to win valuable and exciting prizes by making saving a regular habit. He added that the bank would continue to popularise the savings scheme in the Sultanate by announcing the draws and the names of winners across the media. He pointed out that the more the balance in the savings account, the higher the chance of customers to win attractive prizes.
Bank Muscat has lined up the highest number of prizes in the country with 6,677 winners all set to be rewarded for their savings habit in 2020. The 2020 Al Mazyona scheme offers the biggest prize money in Oman with a total of OMR11 million to be won through the year. Both the number of Al Mazyona prizes and the total prize money have been increased this year, with the total number of winners in the 2020 scheme going up by around 50 per cent compared to the previous year.
