Violation committee to monitor engineering consultancies: MOCI

Muscat: A decision has been issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) to form a violation committee to follow-up and monitor the work in the engineering consultancies.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said, "The Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued a ministerial decision (No.79/2020) to form a violation committee which will monitor the work of the engineering consultancies.”

“The decision is based on the law regulating the work of engineering consultancy offices issued by Royal Decree No. 27/2016 which handles the settlement of violations that is attributed to engineering consultancies," the statement added.
