Workers being forced to go on unpaid leaves: GFOW

Muscat: The General Federation of Oman Workers (GFoW) has recorded 5 reports of workers' rights violations within a span of five days.

According to the federation, the reports included deduction of wages, forcing workers to go on unpaid leave, deduction of leaves for quarantine periods from annual leave and notifications of termination of service.

According to data shared by the federation, in the period from August 9 to August 13, 2020 5 reports of various violations were monitored.
