Muscat Municipality issues clarification on garbage accumulation

Muscat: Muscat Municipality issued a clarification about the accumulation of garbage in designated containers on a beach in Muscat Governorate.

A statement issued online by Muscat Municipality said, "The municipality confirms that it has dealt with the observation immediately, noting that containers are emptied on a daily basis, according to what has been scheduled in the relevant directorates."

"The Muscat Municipality appreciates the community’s keenness and thanks for their cooperation in monitoring these phenomena and reporting them."

"Muscat Municipality invites all beachgoers to put garbage in large containers in case the small containers are full," the statement added.
