Japanese PM announces resignation

Muscat: The Prime Minister of Japan has announced his resignation due to health reasons.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said, "The Prime Minister of Japan announces his resignation from his post for health reasons, after more than 7 years spent in it, indicating that he will continue to perform the duties of the position until a new head of government is appointed."
