His Majesty issues Royal Decree to form Board of Governors of CBO

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued a Royal Decree No. 117/2020, forming the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman under the chairmanship of His Highness Sayyid Taimur bin Assad bin Tariq Al Said.

Other members of the board include

1. Minister of Economy.

2. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance.

3. The CEO of the Capital Market Authority.

4. Maqbool bin Ali bin Sultan Al Lawati.

5. Sheikh Muhammad bin Saud bin Salem Bahwan Al Mukhaini.

6. Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Abri.

The term of the board is for a period of 5 years from the effective date of this Decree.
