Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said issued a ministerial decision to form a committee to prepare a draft strategy for the cultural sector.
His Highness the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth issued a ministerial decision forming a committee to prepare a draft strategy for the cultural sector headed by His Excellency Sayyid Saeed bin Sultan bin Yarub Al Busaidi, Undersecretary for Culture.
The ministry said in a statement: "The project seeks to adopt a national cultural strategy that organises and frames cultural work in the Sultanate in line with the objectives of Oman 2040 Vision. And to highlight the role of culture and arts in helping to achieve sustainable development and social cohesion. "
